SK Gaming owner denies reports of selling the team to Bayern Munich

With the recent trend of football clubs buying players and teams in order to get into the Esports scene like Schalke 04 and Manchester United, it wasn’t hard to believe the rumor that spread yesterday about a deal to sell the whole SK Gaming team to Bayern Munich, the famed German soccer club.

However, this rumor was confirmed fake and “nonsense” according to the team’s owner. SK Gaming recently made the deal with former Luminosity CS: GO Squad, so it did seem a bit strange anyway.
