SL i-League Invitational Dota 2 group stage details
The first details of upcoming matches in the SL i-League Invitational for the game Dota 2, which showed the distribution of the teams and their upcoming matches in the group stage.
StarLadder have revealed the group stage seeding along with the entire StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 3 LAN event schedule.
Five days keep us apart from the first minor of the Dota Pro Circuit. StarLadder i-League Invitational will commence on the 12th of October and it will be the first event after The International 2017 to welcome both Team Liquid and Newbee, the TI7 Champions and the runners up respectively. As expected, the two teams received direct invites and will enter the battle from different groups.
Team Liquid will play against Mineski, Vici Gaming and SG e-sports in group A while Newbee will be playing for the Group B supremacy versus Team Secret, compLexity Gaming and the home crowd favorites, Natus Vincere.
Group A:
- Vici Gaming VS SG e-sports
- Team Liquid VS Mineski
Group B:
- Newbee VS compLexity Gaming
- Team Secret VS Natus Vincere
The group stage will run for the first three days of the event in GSL format, best-of-three series with the top two teams from each group advancing into the playoffs single elimination finals.
