Smash and Gremory Household from Saudi Arabia to WCA 2017 Dota 2 MENA regional qualifiers

With local qualifiers for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia now concluded, we were introduced to the qualified teams for WCA 2017 Dota 2 regional qualifiers for Middle East and North Africa, and it’s Smash and Gremory Household

The final match for Saudi qualifiers had two strong teams clashing where only one of them emerged victorious, as Smash managed to win two games over Gremory. This isn’t the end for the other team, as just reaching the finals is enough for it to qualify to the MENA regional qualifiers with prize pool of over 200,000 Dirhams and the chance to represent all of Middle East at WCA 2017 worldwide finals in China with over $700,000 prize money.

Teams qualified so far are: Game of Thrones (Kuwait), Five Libyans (Libya), Team Loveless and 2K Players (UAE), and Train your Brain and Raze (Tunisia). The teams will be awaiting other Arab teams to join in at the main qualifiers taking place October 4-7. The WCA 2017 MENA qualifiers are organized by eSports Middle East and in partnership and endorsement of Hub Zero and MSI Middle East.
