Soon you’ll be able to relive Counter-Strike 1.6 inside CS: GO

Who didn’t try out this release of Counter-Strike at least once growing up? It looks like we’ll be able to replay the fan-favorite CS 1.6 directly inside CS: GO thanks to this user’s mod that is being worked on.

“Counter-Strike: Classic Offensive” is a remake of 1.6 inside CS: GO which in turn was a remake of 1.6.. you get the idea. What we know as of far is that the main aim is to bring original character models and weapons to the newer engine. This includes all the sounds and dynamics and what not.

The modder, “Z00L” said that he’s almost done with the project so expect a release soon enough. You can watch the trailer below and head to the mod page for the latest updates.
