Space Soldiers won’t be in StarLadder i-League Invitational 2017
The StarLadder i-League Invitational tournament seems to be suffering from an empty spot, that’s dedicated to the participating teams.
Space Soldiers have announced that they will skip the StarLadder i-League Invitational event in Shanghai due to a schedule conflict.
The announcement follows Space Soldiers’ qualification for the European Minor, an event that will run at the same time as the SL i-League competition, after beating Binary Dragons, HellRaisers and ex-Outlaws in Sunday’s closed qualifier.
The Turkish giants had booked their spot at the Chinese event after winning the European qualifier with a 2-0 victory over HAVU in the grand final.
Eight teams will be in attendance at the StarLadder i-League Invitational Shanghai, which will run from November 2-5 and feature $150,000 in prize money.
Contacted by HLTV.org, a Starladder official stated that the organisation is currently in talks with potential replacements for Space Soldiers, with more news expected shortly.
The team list for the Chinese event currently looks as follows:
Gambit | Flash |
TyLoo | Spirit |
TBD | Invite #3 |
Invite #4 | Invite #5 |
