Star Wars: Battlefront leads UK sales as the biggest Star Wars game to date
Even though there were some really big names out there this month, Star Wars: Battlefront proved worthy and managed to snatch the top spot in the UK for this week achieving the biggest launch of a Star Wars game to date.
Fallout 4 saw a decrease in sales this week and sat back at the third place. The massive RPG game gave chance to other games to shine including the new Black Ops 3 which came in second. Comparing to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – the previous biggest Star Wars launch- in sales, Battlefront had %117 difference beating the previous record owner.
It was also noted that the most number of players was seen on PS4, with an amount beating both PC and Xbox One combined. A website indicated that the peak of PS4 Star Wars players so far came at around 183.000 while Xbox One had 104.000 and PC had just 48.000.
