Street Fighter V pro Marn Is Now Part of Rise Nation
The Long Time Street Fighter V pro player Martin “Marn” Phan confirmed today that he will be playing for Rise Nation organization .
“I am thrilled to be able to join Rise Nation as a Street Fighter V player. I’ve received many team and sponsor offers in the past year, though none felt like a good fit for me until Rise Nation came along,” Marn told Yahoo Esports in an emailed statement. “I have been reluctant to join a team as I have always done everything myself, but with all that’s going on in my life and the extreme growth in the SFV scene, there has never been a better time to get the support a strong organization can provide.”
“This one was a no brainer; as a fan of Street Fighter and fighting games in general, I’ve always wanted to be a part of the community,” Rise Nation co-owner Kahreem Horsley told Yahoo Esports. “When the chance came along to work with him, both Rodger [Saffold] and myself jumped on the opportunity. We are very happy to have some have someone with his caliber of talent and connection with the fans to represent our organization.”
Many expect Marn to be at the next ELeague play which will start in 27 March, though he’ll have to survive Group A the second toughest group at ELeague.
