Tekken x Street Fighter isn’t canceled and in development
Namco’s take on the two fighting games hasn’t been canceled yet, don’t worry .. it’s still in development according to Katushiro Harada.
Harada said at last Comic Con that his team is making many games like Tekken 7, Soulcalibur: Lost Swords and Rise of Incarnates so it is challenging for them to afford enough time.
“It is proceeding. It hasn’t been canceled, so please relax,” Harada said, adding development is “still moving forward.”
Tekken x Street Fighter was announced alongside Street Fighter x Tekken at Comic Con 2010, it’s a deal made between Capcom and Namco to feature each other’s game in the style of their game, we saw Street Fighter x Tekken in 2011 and it was a Street Fighter-style 2D fighting game, while Tekken x Street Fighter is going to be a 3D fighting game in the visual style and gameplay of Tekken.
