The Elder Scrolls Online ditches monthly subscription

The long sought day is finally here for the fans of the famous RPG franchise The Elder Scrolls. As Zenimax finally confirmed the rumors circulating about a change in the Online addition of the series’ business model. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited leaves monthly subscription requirement behind.

The game was re-released as “Tamriel Unlimited”. Not only the payment model has changed but many other features and fixes were added to become an overall better experience. However, there still is a subscription option that gives its users in-game currency each month and some other minor advantages like xp and early access to new content.

The newly-launched Tamriel Unlimited has a trailer which you can see below. It’s now available on PC, with a current-gen release to follow next June.
