The only Middle Eastern Capcom Pro Tour event is now cancelled

Not a good news for Street Fighter V pros in the region. Apparently, the only Capcom Tour event has been cancelled as the hosting con, GAMES has been postponed until 2017.

In a Facebook statement, organizers of the biggest gaming convention in Dubai clarified that what happened was because of the changed release dates of some titles which caused the whole event to be delayed in order to present the experience fans and partners can expect, despite some guests were still attending.

This is the first time since the GAMES event was established in 2008 that it has been delayed. The delay till next year was surprising for Capcom which cancelled the Pro Tour while figuring out other options for pro players.
