The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt download size will be around 35GB
CD Projekt RED has finished putting the last touches on the massive action-RPG title, as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has now gone gold.
“We worked so damn hard over the past three years to bring you this game,” said studio head Adam Badowski in a prepared statement. “From the corrupt nobles in Novigrad to ancient monsters lurking in deep forests, to the bustling cities, colorful ports and breathtaking vistas; all the people, all the places.
“We literally spent tens of thousands of hours to turn all that into an adventure that will kick your ass and make you want to come for more. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has gone gold and will soon be yours.”
Users have also noted that the download size of the game sits at around 35GB on the US PS Store, which is noticeably lighter than the previous rumored 50GB. The pre-load on Xbox One reveals that the title on that console is coming at 25GB in size, but after installation goes up to 30s.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One May 19.
