This is what you’ll need to run the first Gears of War PC release in a while
As with the other Microsoft exclusives that are planned to come to PC, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is going to be exclusive to Windows 10 through the Windows Store.
Most notable requirement according to developers is DirectX 12, which means the game only runs on Windows 10. This Gears of War title is the first to be released on PC (excluding the original version of it almost 10 years ago).
The Ultimate Edition reintroduces Gears of War 1 to PC gamers like it did to their Xbox One counterparts who got it few months ago. This re-release comes with upgraded visuals made from scratch and enhanced gameplay experience both for Single Player and Multiplayer.
Other features include the addition of few extra missions to the campaign, 4K support, and dedicated servers with 60fps matches.
