This player became a millionaire by the age of 17 for playing video games
One of the most powerful Dota 2 teams out there, Evil Geniuses is one step away from competing on the largest prize ever featured in a video games tournament. This isn’t their first time either. Thanks to Syed Sumail “Suma1L” Hassan the American team won the previous International tournament in which he became the youngest video games millionaire out there.
One of the best players in the world, 17-years old Suma1L played Dota since he was seven back home in Pakistan. Even though he became interested in playing Cricket for a while, the Pakistani champion returned to the gaming scene when his family moved to Chicago in 2014 where his amazing skills were noticed by the prominent team “Evil Geniuses”.
Suma1L went on to win with his team The International 5’s grand prize of $6.634.661 million dollars becoming the youngest video gaming pro millionaire. Will he be repeating the act once more this year? The International 6 will be offering more than $9 million dollars to the winning team, and only mere hours are what’s separating us from knowing the winner.
