Three UHD screens in one laptop? Meet Project Valerie
Despite CES 2017 holding many announcements of anticipated tech it was this piece of hardware that caught EVERYONE’s attention. That’s right, we’re talking about this insane laptop with not one, or two, but THREE UHD screens that you can have with you wherever you go.
Meet Project Valerie, Razer‘s answer to desktop multi-monitor setups on the go. This world-first three screened laptop comes has room for two more 17.3-inch 4K monitors besides the original screen. The futuristic laptop is of course still a prototype and we have no idea when or how much will it cost if ever released, but it’ll have Nvidia‘s GTX 1080 graphics card/s and G-sync technology support to provide “the smoothest possible framerates and expansive 180 degree Nvidia Surround View gaming.”.
“Multi-monitor desktop set-ups are becoming more necessary for professionals, creators, and gamers,” Min-Liang Tan, Razer CEO, said in a statement. “For the first time, we’ve engineered a solution that users can take with them. Project Valerie promises all of the functionality of three screens and none of the hassle.”
It is only five pounds heavier than the Razer Blade Pro, which is amazing considering that Razer managed to fit two extra screens and a slim body to house all of the horse power to run them. You can check out the trailer for the whole thing below:
