TSM fails the chance at IEM Oakland and loses semi final for UoL

Unicorns of Love has moved to the final station on the road of IEM Oakland’s League of Legends event after defeating Team SoloMid, which failed again to achieve what was expected of it after having disappointed fans few weeks ago at Worlds.

Unicorns of Love came back from a one-game deficit Sunday to upset TSM in the best-of-three semifinals of IEM Oakland. A first-round win and the home crowd support were not enough to motivate TSM. Even after his counterpart Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg spearheaded a miracle team fight at the 26-minute mark to get TSM back into game three, the exhaustion and lack of tactics was clearly visible on the players who apparently didn’t train well for the match as a pre-recorded interview reveals.

Unicorns now await the winner of the series between Flash Wolves and Longzhu to play for the $50,000 first prize.
