Virtus.Pro drops Dota 2 roster following disappointing performance
Russia’s top pro team Virtus.Pro has decided to drop its Dota 2 roster after unimpressive results through the current year. Even though the lineup had a shakeup at March such as getting players “yoky” and “NoFear”, yet the bad performance remained unchanged and it left no other choice than to drop the whole thing.
Apparently, The organization claims that the team’s poor performance in the qualifiers for the International 6 was the last straw. It’s sad seeing it come to this as Virtus.Pro was considered one of the top eight teams in the world last year when they defeated teams like Team Secret and reached top six at The International 5.
One of the main reasons for the team’s unimpressive results came following the roster swap was the seemingly constant role-swapping between certain players, which often led to less than satisfactory results. However. “Despite the fact that the structure is dissolved, it is possible that some of the former players of VP will be in the new roster,” the team said.
