Voice Chat is coming to Blizzard games after a long wait

Fans of Blizzard games like World of Warcraft and Diablo III have been requesting a voice chat feature for ages now, and it looks like it’s finally coming to life according to the Alpha invites.

Blizzard invited a number of accounts to try out some of the new Battle.net features that are still in alpha phase. These features include the much-requested voice chat feature explained in an email to these invited individuals. The feature is only available for a selective few right now, but Blizzard promised more to come.

“We’ve been hard at work creating an easier way to keep you connected with your guildies, teammates, and friends across all your favorite Blizzard games,” says the welcome email.

No definitive date to when exactly voice chat will roll over to all users, but we’re excited to see it implanted after years of wait.
