Watch Minecraft’s Notch take up the Icebucket challenge, and Phill Spencer’s response

The ALS Icebucket challenge, internet’s latest trend to raise awareness and gather donations for the ALS disease, has attracted many celebrities and normal people alike. It consists of throwing a bucket of cold icy water over your head and pay a $100 for the cause, then challenging people of your choice. Minecraft’s programmer Markus “Notch” Persson has done the challenge in a video of himself, watch below :

He challenged Xbox’s Phill Spencer, Gears of War’s Cliff Bleszinski, and Activision’s CEO Bobby Kotick. Only Spencer has accepted the challenge so far, and here’s the funny video of him getting an ice water treatment by Xbox’s Larry Hyrb (Major Nelson) and Jeff Rubenstein :

In return, he named three of the big names in gaming, Valve founder Gabe Newell, PlayStation worldwide studios president Shuhei Yoshida and Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime. It’s going to be interesting to see who’ll come out next ! So far celebrities like Taylor Swift, Bill Gates, Triple H and many more have took the challenge, which one was your favorite ?
