Wii U emulator comes closer to competition with Super Mario Maker playability
There’s no doubt that the progression of the development process of Wii U’s very first emulator Cemu is one of the fastest -if not THE fastest- that any emulator ever had. Today it was announced that the new emulator managed to play Super Mario Maker on PC, which is one of the new exclusives of the device.
Ever since Cemu managed to run Shovel Knight, more and more games could be played including Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Bros U. Of course, more graphically-demanding games are not possible right now like Bayonetta 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles X, but it’s a very good start now.
For a two-months old emulator, Cemu is doing a great job where most emulators take years to reach this level. The latest 1.3.0 updated improved lots of aspects and addressed many problems including the AMD GPUs one.
To watch Super Mario Maker on Cemu here’s a video below. The PC used for testing isn’t all that great either, so expect people with better rigs to run this a lot better.
