With competition rising, Fortnite may copy features from Apex Legends

Apex Legends made a fast success which may put Fortnite on a dangerous spot, giving the fact that it’s rising very fast among gamers, and that’s why it may borrow the respawning mechanic.

Recently, while answering questions in an AMA over at Reddit, when asked if there was a possibility that Fortnite might get a respawning mechanic in the near future, Epic Games said that that’s something they’ve been looking into for a while.

“We’ve been considering this mechanic for a while and have been exploring it,” they said. “Want to make sure we give it the time it needs and fully understand its impact on the game as a whole. Look for further updates during Season 8.”
