You won’t be able to test the car in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV demo

Looks like the latest addition to the announced Final Fantasy XV won’t make it to the of demo releasing with Type-0 HD after all. According to Square Enix.

Hajime Tabata said in an interview that the exclusion of the car was necessary to not confuse fans the latest FF is about driving cars. The Episode Duscae demo will focus on characters and exploring the world instead.

“Originally we were planning on making the car be available,” he said, “but we didn’t want people to mistake it and think ‘When did Final Fantasy become a driving game?’”

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is releasing March 17 and those who Pre-Order the game or get the collector’s edition will be handed a code for the XV demo.
