World number one team invited to ESL One New York

SK Gaming have been invited to compete at ESL One New York, the event’s organizers have confirmed.

The Brazilian giants are the fourth team confirmed at the event, joining Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro and FaZe, who were all previously invited.

SK, the No.1 team in the world at the moment, recently finished third-fourth at the ESL Pro League Season 5 finals, in Dallas. They will attend DreamHack Summer, in Sweden, this weekend, and the ECS Season 3 finals, in the United Kingdom, next week.

ESL One New York will take place from September 14-17 at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. Four more teams will soon be announced for the tournament, whose prize fund and format remain unannounced.
