World of Warcraft system requirements to change due to next expansion

If you were hoping that you’d be able to continue playing World of Warcraft for longer after the upcoming expansion, we’ve got some bad news.

Blizzard announced that with the release of the upcoming Legion expansion in September 21, the system requirements for the game are set to change due to “potential programming changes” that uped the requirements of the game.

You can view the new requirements below:

Minimum

  • OS: Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 10 with latest service pack
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 or AMD Phenom II X3 720
  • Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 or AMD Radeon HD 5670 or Intel HD Graphics 5000
  • RAM: 2GB

Recommended

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit with latest service pack
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3330, AMD FX-6300, or better
  • Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti or AMD Radeon R7 260X or better
  • RAM: 4GB

Even though the game is losing millions of its players, but Blizzard hopes that it can bring some back with the new expansion that offers new things to do.
