Yahoo Esports teams up with Riot games for uLoL Rivalries
Esports division of the famous Internet company Yahoo has just announced it’s forming a new League of Legends tournament for colleges in partnership with Riot Games by the name of “uLoL Rivalries”.
The upcoming tournament will bring together 10 teams representing five of the biggest rivalries in collegiate esports to play League matches every week for five weeks. To make things even more exciting, players and fans will be able to vote on exactly which colleges will be playing. You can vote every day for your favorite rivalries (example Cal/Stanford); the top five vote-getters will form the 10-team inaugural season.
Voting kicks off September 19, with the season starting up November 4. Stay tuned on Yahoo Esports for more details on daily bases.
