You can beat Deus Ex: Mankind Divided bosses by talking to them

Perhaps the biggest complain of fans regarding the last Deus Ex was how the game encouraged players to do a stealth playthrough, only for it to throw it out of the window with the lethal boss battles where you have to kill them.

Luckily, Mankind Divided will be a different story as we previously heard players can have a pacifist run. The studio talked about the boss battles in the latest game again and how you can even defeat them by the power of speech.

“For Human Revolution, because of the way we designed it, [bosses] always died in the cutscenes,” added narrative director Mary DeMarle. “You had no choice. But we rectified that in the Missing Link DLC, and we’ve rectified it in this game.”

Conversation is one of the three main gameplay methods besides Stealth and going lethal. The different systems will make the game more varied and how you play it will affect your story outcome.
