Official remote play app for PC is coming to PS4 soon
Few days ago we’ve heard about an unofficial app that was made by one of the fans that allow users to stream their PS4 to their PCs, similar to the way Remote Play works between PS4 and PS Vita. It looks that Sony’s attention was drawn and their official app is to be released soon.
The remote play feature that the company introduced with the release of PS4 only allows you to stream to certain devices like the Vita and select mobile phones, unlike the Xbox One which has the ability to stream to PC and play with the official pad. This made Sony fans wonder why they don’t have such feature yet.
Worldwide studios president Shuhei Yoshida answered that question in a recent tweet on his twitter account, announcing that the official PC/Mac app is in the work and will be released soon.
This release might be accompanied with official drivers for the Dualshock 4 as well, which is something a lot of peopled wanted from the beginning since they like to play their games with it. We’ll have to wait for more on this story.
