Here are the qualified national teams for Overwatch World Cup

A new name is being made as one of the big Esports titles out there, and it’s made by none other than the competitive pioneers at Blizzard. Despite launching mere months ago we’re about to see the first Overwatch World Cup later this year with 16 national teams representing their country in this fest.

The 15 million players game is slowly becoming as big as Dota 2, LoL and CS: GO. The upcoming Overwatch World Cup has huge potential in attracting views as the national teams format will ensure people coming together to cheer for their country, leading to them caring more about the pro gamers behind these teams in a win-win situation for everybody.

The 16 teams that got qualified through the internet qualifiers from the 50 registered teams are: Australia/New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Finland, France, Germany, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and USA. Group stage kicks off October 29 with finals taking place at BlizzCon on November 4th and 5th.
