Team Dignitas secures spot at WESG with European Qualifiers win

After defeating a mixture of prominent European teams at the WESG qualifiers, Team Dignitas won first place with a prize pool of $30.000 as well as qualifying as the region’s top seed for the upcoming CS: GO event.

Danish team faced Team Kinguin in the semi-finals and managed to come out on top despite losing the first map 17-19, as it managed to bounce and win two close maps 16-10 and 16-13. The next hurdle in Dignitas way was team Russia led by Flipid3 “WorldEdit” and “electronic”. Early 4-0 lead in the first match wasn’t enough for Russia to hold back Dignitas as the team rebounded and dominated Mirage map in the coming rounds as well as winning Cobblestone 16-4.

Russia didn’t come out empty handed as players were handed $18.000 for second prize as well as qualifying to the World Electronic Sports Games side to side with Virtus.Pro, Team Kinguin, Ukraine, EnVyUs, GODSENT and iGame.com.
