Activision Blizzard planning MLG.TV improved content and more

Activision Blizzard recently revealed some of its plans for the live streaming website MLG.TV, which the company has acquired as a part of the MLG deal. It was announced that “new content, broadcast experiences and distribution partnerships” will be launched for the Twitch competitor to be put on the map once again.

Some of the new improvements include the implementation of new MLG.TV system called “Enhanced Viewing Experience” (EVE) which was shown at IAM Digital Content NewFronts conference. The new system shows match statistics, leaderboards, and insights based on what the viewer is watching. Additionally, former pro gamer Chris Puckett has been unveiled as the new host of a daily ESR broadcast, which will show premium highlights, interviews, and news segments.

The new content will be released during the events of MLG Anaheim Open CoD: Black Ops 3 tournament June 10. This is the same competition that will debute on Facebook as the first ever Esports event to be broadcast on Facebook Live, thanx to a recent deal with Activision.
