AWP Dragon Lore $1000 skin could be yours in CS: GO Operation Hydra

What you read in the title is correct. Many Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players have confirmed that you can get the Dragon Lore AWP skin inside the newest operation, Hydra.

What you need is, like everything good in life, is a good amount of luck.. but at least the possibility is there. AWP Dragon Lore, ranging in price from $980 to $1500 had appeared for players of Operation Hydra as a drop, after reaching a certain amount of XP.

While you finish missions under the categories of Wingman, War Games, and Weapons Expert in the new Operation you will be getting Event XP, which upon reaching 2000 XP it would grant you a random skin or case drop. The weapon skins can be anything from $1 worth to Medusa, Dragon Lore, or even M4A4 Poseidon.

Another kind of points that can be claimed is Guardian XP, which is given to players of Guardian campaign missions. Unlike Event XP, the drop is always a weapon skin and there are no cases here, making the chance even larger for a rare skin. You also have to claim 2000 XP points in here to get the drop.

From now and until the end of Operation Hydra you can get 18 Event XP drops and 7 Guardian XPs. Whether luck will smile upon you or not, that remains to be seen. You’ll be needing the Hydra pass from Steam in order to access the Operation, which will cost you $6.5 dollars over the base game in your library.
