These are the official football clubs competing at FIFA Interactive Clubs World Cup 2017

Seven new clubs have been announced to join the previously revealed twelve in the past two weeks, and now the list for teams competing over the first-ever Fifa Interactive Clubs World Club is here.

19 clubs will be lining up at the inaugural FIFA Interactive Club World Cup, which is being held in London on 5 August. Most of these teams come from Europe while we see the likes of River Plate coming from South America. It’s far from being an actual world cup, but it’s still the very first step in that path.

The last seven clubs revealed are:

  • Ajax Amsterdam
  • AS Roma
  • FC Nantes
  • Feyenoord Rotterdam
  • New York City FC
  • VfB Stuttgart
  • Atletico River Plate

Also taking a seat at the event will be leading French gamer “Vinch”, who signed for FC Nantes last December, while “FranoPlay” will be representing River Plate, the only non-European club in the competition.

FICWC 2017 takes place just days before the annual edition of Fifa Interactive World Cup for individuals, which is to be held in August 16. Player Mohammad Al-Basha won last year’s tournament after a hard-fought match against England’s Sean Allen to be crowned the FIWC 2016 champion.
