Development League details announced for ECS season 4
ECS today announced all the important details of the dates, schedule and other events of the Development League event, which qualifies players for the fourth season of the tournament.
The event will begin on 19 August with open qualifiers for Europe and North America. The winner will move directly to the Development League event, where we will find eight teams from each region.
The four winning teams will face four other teams who will receive a direct invitation to attend. The two best teams from each region to the playoffs then the teams present in this event will face the lowest ranking teams of the last season – Virtus.pro and Team Dignitas in Europe, as well as Ghost and Luminosity from North America.
ECS said it will continue its tradition of highlighting who is interested in casting matches during the tournament, through a special challenge called the Community Caster Challenge, Everyone who wishes to participate should present his full information to the organization in order to gain the opportunity to win the post.
We now go into more details about scheduling games. The Development League event will show open qualifiers for Europe on 19 and 24 August and then special North American qualifiers on 19 and 25 August. Teams can register from the official link.
The major Development League events will begin on August 29 and last for five weeks until they end on September 14, and take us to the playoffs on Sept. 23-24.
