ESL reveal new set of rules for IEM events

ESL has announced the launch of some of the new laws that will become effective in the various IEM tournaments of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, after several teams have struggled to participate in qualifying matches under an area that is not suitable for them.

The new laws are already effective at the IEM Oakland tournament, where teams can be in a qualifying zone outside their home area or area if they can provide convincing reasons for wanting to do so.

These laws will be applied to teams that do not have qualifiers to support their home country, teams that participate in other tournaments within different regions and do not have time to return to their home region to compete in the IEM qualifiers, and also to teams that have moved to a new region  For a long time.

All teams wishing to use these rules must communicate directly with ESL to make it possible, and if the organization agrees to grant them approval, the new zone will be considered as their mother station for all tournament events or until the reasons that have made them change their region originally have ended.

The Chinese team Tyloo has been approved by the organization to apply these laws and will therefore be able to participate in the European qualifiers for the IEM Championships, which have open and closed qualifiers for Europe, North America and Asia.
