Fifa 16 will have women teams for the first time in the franchise

EA announced as promised on their EA Sports twitter page the first details regarding the next installment in the annual football game, Fifa 16.

Looks like we’ll be able to play the female equivalent of our favorite teams soon, as Fifa 16 will include a number of women’s national teams that could be played with in Online Friendly Matches, Match Day, and Offline Tournament. Available teams are USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy, and Mexico.

However, you can’t play a single match with both gender in. So that’s a no for a possibility of Sydney Leroux against Cristiano Ronaldo sadly.

Fifa 16 comes out in September for PC, Xbox One/360 and PS3/4.
