H1Z1 couldn’t find enough success in the esports world

H1Z1 may be one of the first games who implemented battle royale mode, but that sadly does not mean it will remain the best in it,  in the esports field at least.

According to ESPN , H1Z1 Pro League is shutting down and  Twin Galaxies Co-Chairmen Jace Hall wrote :

“It’s with a heavy heart that a letter has been sent to the League’s team organizations providing notice that the 2nd Split has been suspended indefinitely, and that a second league season will not be renewed or scheduled at this time,”

He also mentioned they are working on paying previously owed stipends to teams and players. The total stipends promised to be paid across the 15 participating teams was reported around $3 million, breaking down to $250,000 of that going towards players salaries.
