Intel Challenge Katowice 2018 close to a huge end

Announced back in January, the Intel Challenge Katowice 2018 which coincides with the main event IEM Katowice 2018 is finally here in all of its glory

 

The female tournament held alongside IEM Katowice will return once again, with eight teams set to compete for a $50,000 prize pool this year.

The fourth edition of the Intel Challenge Katowice 2018 will be held during the IEM EXPO and will take place on February 23-25—a week before the IEM Katowice CS:GO tournament.

Eight female teams will compete at the event, with three already receiving invites: RES, Dignitas fe and ARES fe.

The group games ended, and the tournament took us to the quarter-finals of the four best teams, which is the first two teams from each group.

RES were unable to hold on for a long time after Dignitas fe proved their advantage again in a memorable game, losing one map and regaining control with their recent 2-1 results.

Squared Prospects was easier and faster to say, with Keyd Stars fe blocking the lead and winning two maps, ending the game in the 2-0 win.

Intel Challenge Katowice 2018 will continue until tomorrow, February 25, and a $ 50,000 prize will be distributed to the top four teams.
