Jason Voorhees joins the Mortal Kombat X cast and game delayed for old-gen consoles

Netherrealm Studios announced that one of the most famous and iconic horror movies characters Jason will be joining the anticipated fighting game Mortal Kombat X, as a part of the game’s Season Pass or as it’s named Kombat Pack.

The Kombat Pack which is now available for $25 will include 4 additional characters. Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and another guest character as well as two classic kombatants that will be revealed later on as they’re currently in development.

The last-gen versions of the game for Xbox 360 and PS3 was pushed till summer instead of being released on April, as it is for the PC and current-gen consoles.

“Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Mortal Kombat X being developed by High Voltage Software will release this summer,” the publisher told Videogamer in a statement.
