
Kojima Productions is disbanded, says Japanese Snake voice actor
Looks like it’s really the end for the developers of Metal Gear Solid. The Japanese voice actor for the iconic character Snake Akio Otsuka revealed that the team will be separating after the work is done on their last game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
“Kojima Productions was forced to disband, but it appears that the work that the team has been putting their utmost effort into is nearly complete,”
“I’m not exaggerating when I say that I expect it will become their greatest masterpiece. I couldn’t help it. I just wanted to say ‘Kept you waiting, huh?’ (Laughs.) But even if this is the end, Metal Gear Solid is immortal!”
Kojima Productions team is still working hard on the game to shape it as their best game yet up until September 1. Hideo Kojima reasurred fans that he’s 100% involved in the development process up until the game releases.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain comes September 1 for PS4/3 and Xbox One/360. A PC version is coming September 15.
