League of Legends Worlds 2015 to be held in Europe

Looks like the most popular MoBA game’s world championship is being held in Europe this year in October, following an announcement made by Riot Games this week regarding League of Legends.

The developer confirmed that the tournament’s Quarter Final, Semi Final and Grand Finale are to be held in different cities in Europe to spread the love of eSports for the fanbase that exists in there.

“Our goal is to bring live esports action to a broad base of fans across Europe and to provide an exciting and diverse backdrop for fans watching at home,” said the firm.

“Last year’s multi-city journey to Worlds was a fast-paced and exhilarating ride – we learned a ton about the kind of experience we want to offer to competing pros, fans in the stadiums, and viewers at home.

“We’re ready for an action-packed month in Europe.”

League of Legends World Championship is one of the biggest events in the competitive esports scene where many pros from all over the world challenge eachother in an attempt to win the title and honor in front of millions of fans watching in stadiums and at their homes.
