LuxuryWatch Red wins IEM Gyeonggi Overwatch tournament

LuxuryWatch Red team managed to emerge victorious out of IEM Gyeonggi Overwatch competition winning the first place prize of $50,000, after a short journey of defeating some of the best teams in the game.

It was a successful first outing for a team that made a significant roster shuffle prior to the event, walking first over Kongdoo Panthera, before taking down Rogue and defeating Luntic-Hai 3-1 in the grand final.

The European contingent had a less impressive showing, with neither of the newly-formed rosters of Misfits or Rogue able to pick up a series. Likewise Afreeca Freecs Blue found themselves eliminated immediately, perhaps lending credence to the claims that the team benefited from an easier bracket in their run to the APEX finals.

2^nd –  Lunatic-Hai ($20,000)

3^rd/4^th –  Rogue ($12,000)
