Nintendo is apparently funding Beyond Good and Evil 2

A lot of people are still waiting for a new Half-Life installment, but some are actually looking forward another game stuck in development hell, which is the forgotten Ubisoft’s Beyond Good and Evil sequel.

Even though having no new details led some fans to believe the project was canceled, apparently BG&E2 is still in development with the help of Nintendo itself.

According to a rumor spread by a trusted source, Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be announced again as a Nintendo NX exclusive and will be released in 2017. According to this source this move represents Nintendo’s good will towards core gamers who stir clear from the Wii U for its lack of AAA titles.

The first game was one of the most important Gamecube title, but it was not an exclusive as it released on Xbox, PC and PS2. The news of BG&E2 exclusivity might annoy fans for that sake just like how Bayonetta 2 was a Wii U exclusive.
