Nolan North casually confirms that The Last of Us 2 is in the works

Nolan North held a panel at MetroCon 2015 this Sunday where he talked to his fans about plenty of things, one of which is how Uncharted 4 writer’s departure affected development. But the little detail that got everyone surprised is how he casually confirmed that The Last of Us 2 is indeed in development currently at Naughty Dog.

In an answer to one of the attendance about his current projects, North -perhaps by mistake- said that the folks at Naughty Dog are doing The Last of Us 2 now but he won’t be a part of it because of what happened to his character in the first game.

We now almost definitely know that The Last of Us 2 is happening, but when are we getting the first piece of official information about it? And will it be released right after Uncharted 4? Only time will tell…maybe an E3 2016 reveal and a 2017 release.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is coming to PS4 next year.
