Number of Steam users reach a new milestone of 125 million

More and more fame for Steam platform and its digital store between the lines of video gamers. It was lately revealed that the number of current active users of the service has reached 125 million all around the world.

Valve announced that there are now over 125 million active users on Steam, with it containing 4500 games and over 400 million user-generated content. GDC 2015 will mark Steam’s 13th birthday since its public launch back in 2002.

Other numbers include 8.9 million concurrent users on steam which is an increase on January’s 8.4.

Valve has some new announcements in its bag for GDC 2015 including the firm’s own VR technology and the final form of the long-awaited Steam controller. So stay tuned.
