OG wins big again with third Major victory at Boston

Thirteen months into the game and OG is already one of the most established competitor on Dota 2’s Esports field. The Europeans did it again at Boston Major last night and got a hold on their third title making history.

The Boston Major finals had the champions of Frankfurt and Manila facing off the Greek underdogs Ad Finem in an existing match that ended with 3-1 result. OG took the first two games in relatively comfortable fashion, both inside 45 minutes, and looked set to win the title. But then the Greeks fought back in an incredible marathon game that lasted nearly 80 minutes that showcased a brilliant performance by the Greeks ending with their win despite multiple efforts by O G to comeback.

After the end of the marathon it was all OG leading into a team wipe at just 26 minutes mark, forcing Ad Finem to give up 12 minutes after. OG won the prestigious $1 million dollars while Ad came second in their first Major entry with $500,000. Congrats to both teams!
