PS4 hacked, said to play copied games using this little device

It looks like Sony’s next-gen console isn’t exactly un-hackable, as Chinese team demonstrated their latest creation called PS4 MTX Key allowing users to play games without having to pay for them.

The PS4 MTX Key is a little device that can enable unlimited game sharing. In other words, you’ll be able to download and play a copy of whatever game you want to play whenever you please. The key tricks your PS4 into thinking that a friend had shared his account with you, while it isn’t exactly the case.

Sources confirm that the little piece is now available to pre-order and its price ranges between $60 and $90, a price that doesn’t seem as much considering it allows you to play games of a much more value than that.

There is no guarantee that the device, installed manually inside the PS4, will play all upcoming games or keep working after Sony updates the console. There’s also the voiding warranty and no-online that comes with these kinds of things, so it isn’t without its own cost. We don’t agree with unlicensed pirating of software, yet though it’s an interesting piece of news to share with you so make what you wish out of it.

Here’s a video of the PS4 MTX Key in action below:
