Redemption eSports interview – one of the most promising teams in Saudi Arabia

With the expansion of esports in the Arab world, especially in Saudi Arabia, we are witnessing more and more promising names in the sky of competitive video games and Redemption eSports is one of them. The newly formed team was one of our guests who wanted to share their passion with the Arab players community, and this is the interview we got with them

• What is Redemption eSports? Tell us about your team

A group of experienced individuals in the field of eSports decided to set up a team in 2018 in late October where the team was named Redemption. The ambition we still have is to highlight our expertise among the competing teams and create more opportunities to compete with the professional teams. Redemption has the best players in various games, which gives us confidence to achieve a lot of local and international achievements after the recent support of the mental sports union.

• What games are you focusing on right now? We would like to know your current standings

We have many games and we strive to develop such as:

1 – Overwatch for PC and PS4
The team has had many achievements on the PC platform and is ranked among the best teams in the Kingdom reaching the finals of Challenge Arena tournament and is considered one of the best Arab teams, with players classified among best 500 players on both platforms.

2 – Fortnite on the various devices PC + PS4 + XBOX
The Fortnite team on the PC platform is the weekly winner of the Miqel Championships, or at least the finalists.

3 – Rocket League
Our team at Rocket League is distinguished by many of the top 10 players at the EU level and has won numerous online tournaments, most notably at IGN in Jeddah and ComicCon in Kuwait.

4- Rainbow 6 Siege PC
The Rainbow team is distinguished by a number of players participating in the Rainbow Community cup Championship.

5. League of Legends

6- Black Ops
The Black Ops team includes a team of 14 players and is currently ranked 5th in the Navas

• We wish you all the best in your upcoming competitions! The Redemption Esports team is relatively new but it seems ready to fight well known teams in the Arab arena. What do you have prepared so far?

Redemption Esports has been able to achieve many achievements in less than 3 months, including the creation of a special Jersey for the team. The team includes 80 professional members and an integrated network of designers, editors and video moderators. The team also has its own website under development. We always strive for the best and try hard to attract the best players and goals

• There is no doubt that you are really interested in this area and are ready to enter the upcoming competitions. What are your plans and goals near and long term?

– Representing Saudi Arabia in international tournaments.
– Continuing our commitment in this field to achieve more achievements and titles to raise the name of the team.
– Participation in the development of electronic sports in the Arab world.
– To be the best in the world and the Middle East.
– We have partnership and sponsorship contracts with all companies specialized in electronic sports.
– Contribute to the development of the player material and moral support.
– To have an audience from all over the world in all social networking sites.
– The organization should be inclusive of all competitive games.
