Riot Games Opens Office in Dubai

Riot Games has officially branched into the Middle East by opening an office in Dubai. Onur Tamer of Riot Games will lead the charge to help grow the company in the new city. He was responsible for the launch of the Turkey and Russian branch back in 2012 and 2013, respectively, and most recently helped the launch of the company’s Japan location in 2014.

Riot seeks employees for the new location, and positions include director of marketing, director of trade marketing, infrastructure manager, live producer, localization manager, player support manager, and recruiters.

The new office makes it a possibility Riot could be developing a Middle Eastern region. At the moment, players from the Middle East are forced to play on the European servers, as it is the closest to avoid ping issues. In addition, Middle Eastern professional teams could finally rise up and participate in their own competitions or participate along with other Wildcard regions.

If you think you are qualified for some of the jobs listed, and are willing to relocate to Dubai, consider dropping to their page.
