Russia preparing to host DOTA 2 Epicenter XL tournament this year

12 teams will head to Moscow to compete at DOTA 2 EPICENTER XL this year. The last two teams secured their participation this weekend.

 

 

A few participants from direct invites and qualifiers for several regions like Europe were already known. Now China and the Madness Qualifier are finished, too. And DOTA 2 Epicenter XL tournament should be began on 27 April.

FlyToMoon

FlyToMoon, a Russian-Ukrainian mix surrounding won the last match of the Madness Qualifier against Team Kinguin. This means four CIS teams will compete in Moscow for the title of the CIS Major. For the team which formed in early February this year, it is the first chance to gain DPC points to qualify for TI8.

LGD-Gaming

China will send LGD-Gaming to compete at EPICENTER XL. In the Chinese qualifier they showed a strong playoff performance after having some issues in the group stage. After losing 1-2 against their opponent VGJ.Thunder, got their revenge in the playoffs.

LGD and FlyToMoon are the final participants that will compete in Moscow against the best teams in the world, starting from April 27th. Next to three times Major winner  Virtus.pro TI winner Team Liquid, DreamLeague champion Team Secret and Chinas top team Newbee will be among the favorites to win the DOTA 2 Epicenter XL in Russia.
