Spanish club Real Betis joins VFO Esports organization
Virtual Football Organization (VFO) has announced yesterday that Spanish La Liga club Real Betis is now its newest member, as the club will be picking up video games professionals for the VFO tournament circuit starting January 2017.
The club presented three team captains that are responsible to choose and manage players for VFO’s tournament circuit starting January 2017. The Primeria Division del FIFA 17, as the tournament is officially called, is played in a 11vs11 format on Playstation 4, Xbox and PC respectively. The club hasn’t decided on its players yet and is currently taking applications, concluded by a test to be held December 19
Real Betis joins about 40 other worldwide football clubs in adapting Esports or competitive video games, with big names like FC Schalke, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
