Incredible performance from Team liquid crowned them with the title of DOTA 2 China Super Major

Before few hours was the finals of DOTA 2 China Super major between Team liquid and Virtus.Pro for The final event of the DOTA 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) and the title.

Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi and the rest of his companions on Liquid defeated Virtus Pro in one of the most enthralling grand finals from this Pro Circuit season. The match went all five games, with neither side giving ground to the other the whole time. It was a show of sheer Dota 2 supremacy and skill by two of the top three teams in the world—at least, in terms of points on the Pro Circuit leaderboard.

Their victory also grants them a total of 3,375 Pro Circuit points, putting them above PSG-LGD and below VP on the leaderboard. Given that they had already secured a direct invite at Epicenter XL, though, the points hardly matter now. What they’ll be happy about, though, is the stack of cash they just earned: $555,000.

More importantly, Team Liquid will have a significant amount of momentum on their hands going into TI8. With the world championship tournament just two months away.

Team Liquid is looking poised to make DOTA 2 history this year—as the first team to win two TI titles, and the first to successfully defend their trophy.
